St. Louis Calligraphy Guild Workshop

Taught by an incredible teacher whose depth of knowledge in materials and lettering skills will bring our your hidden artistry, beginners will learn the Foundational alphabet along with variations demonstrated for more advanced calligraphers.

The Foundational hand is considered by many to be the “foundation” for learning calligraphic letter forms with a broad edge tool. This is a great session for beginners! Experienced calligraphers can revisit this style, and take it further with the variations that Reggie will teach. We will begin with a set of basic lower and upper case forms, and then use these as a springboard to create variations, many of which will have a more modern feel.
